The book of Revelation in the New Testament, as its Greek name indicates, is a revelation written by Christian communities of the first century, who experienced great persecution because of their following of Jesus, hence its language expressed in images and symbols (Jesus as a slain Lamb but standing, the dragon, 7 seals among others).

At Didajé, we present from the knowledge of Biblical Sciences, some lines of interpretation based on the historical and theological context of these communities and from there, have hermeneutical approaches to current contexts.
